Fees & Insurance Policy

At A Soul Awake Psychotherapy, LLC, my goal is to make services accessible and affordable for each client by offering competitive fees and financial assistance for those who qualify. Please see service descriptions and rates below.

Should financial burden make it difficult for you to pay for therapy, you may be eligible to receive services at a reduced rate for up to 3 months.

Fees are subject to change. They are evaluated annually and may be adjusted up to 10%.

You may share as much or as little as you like. I’ll speak about my therapeutic approach and answer any questions you may have. If you and I agree that we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule an initial intake appointment.

Individual Intake via Telehealth

60 minutes


During your intake, we’ll dig deeper into what brings you to therapy at this time. Moving at a pace that feels comfortable to you, I’ll begin gathering a history as it relates to your presenting concerns, and ask you to reflect on what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. I strive to establish a strong rapport early on in the therapeutic relationship by creating a relaxed atmosphere in which each client is free to be herself without fear.

Individual Therapy Session via Telehealth

45 minutes


For our first 4 – 6 sessions, I’ll request that we meet weekly. This is important in developing trust, consistency, and establishing therapeutic goals. We can then decide the appropriate session frequency going forward.

Insurance Policy

Note that A Soul Awake Psychotherapy, LLC is an out-of-network provider. This means that while I do not bill insurance companies directly, your services may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement through out-of-network insurance coverage, flexible spending accounts (FSAs), or health savings accounts (HSAs).

Prior to your first appointment, you are encouraged to call your insurance provider to ask if you have out-of-network coverage for mental health services. You may reference CPT code 90791 for the initial intake session (60 minutes) and 90834 for all subsequent sessions (45 minutes), and let the representative you speak with on the phone know that services will be offered via Telehealth.

Once you’ve verified your coverage, I will provide you with a superbill each month (a summary of services rendered and payments received) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Many clients receive reimbursement up to 50 – 80% of service fees if they have out-of-network-benefits.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask that you notify me via phone or email at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. If you do not provide 24 hours’ notice, you will be responsible for paying the full session fee.

Note that payment is due at the time of service. Your card on file will be charged at the end of each session.
