Imagine the waves washing up on the shore, meeting the sand, and returning to the frothy sea; their rhythm steady, no two ebbs or flows the same.
Focus on that brief instant during which the water is neither coming nor going, but merely encountering the sun-bathed grains beneath it.
Dwell here. This is the present moment. This is the space between each in-breath and out-breath. This is the time when the sea is defined not by its motion but by its stillness.
