When you find yourself in the throes of despair and anger, shame and overwhelm, a tiny voice within knows exactly what you need to hear.
It may whisper to you softly during meditation or greet you before you roll out of bed in the morning. If you try to find it, you may be met only with the echoes of messages past, unable to tap into its wisdom on demand.
But it will always return, calling you back to yourself, meeting your darkness with the promise of dawn.
Where can you listen to yourself more today? What messages might be trying to get your attention? Find a few minutes of stillness, close your eyes and turn inward. Consider writing down what comes up for you or ending your practice with a brief meditation.
